Home: Something is wrong with the world

We experience snippets of a beautiful world…rainbows, smiles, chocolate, a purring cat. But then, you don’t have to look far to see the way we have ruined a beautiful plan, a beautiful creation. Our ugly handprints are readily visible all around us. Our world carries the marks of our failures. But life isn’t without hope. In fact, there is great hope. There is a song that says, “And we have only heard the faintest whispers of how great You are.” The God I know is all about redemption. He can take our messes and make something really unique and awesome out of them. I want to join in on that kind of plan.

P.S. What were the city planners thinking when they put up all of those wires???

  1. God takes our mess. Man, i feel like for the past few years Thats all ive been. One mistake after another. And here i am again broken. I dont know what id do without knowing God and experiancing his redemtion. Thanks for the beautiful picture.

  2. In response to your recent postings – your photography does make a difference, it wakens awareness. Maybe we cannot make big changes but we can do little things. I try by helping charity organisations who are working to help others to help themselves and we can pray – prayer is a powerful tool, and God does listen.
I agree that something big is wrong with the world – GREED.
